RESULTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
“AT CHABYSH 2007”
2,3,4 November - Barskoon (Issyk Kul)
Horse races on long distance (endurance) «Kunan Chabysh», «Byshty» and «Bash Baige» for Kyrgyz horses and several Kyrgyz national horse games competitions "Kyz Kuumai", "Tyiyn Enmei", "Oodarysh" were held in Ak-Tuz plateau during 3 days.
61 horses from Issyk-Kul , Naryn and Chui regions took part at the horse races.
There were set up a cultural village, with a stage for concerts, national aitysh competition and exceptional participation of French team of horse-ball “Coup d'Envoi”, Kyrgyz musicians, akyns, manaschi and handicrafts from Tadjikistan (Murghab) , a village for Fine Arts and handicrafts exhibitions and 22 yurtas in order to welcome and provide food for the guests and participants of the festival.

3 friendly matches between the French team “Coup d'Envoi” and 18 Kyrgyz riders from Barskoon, Tamga, Tosor, Saruu, Kysyl Suu, Tiup villages.
All the winners and participants of all the horse races and games were given festival diploma and books “ The Kyrgyz horse - Safeguard and utilization - Horse races of endurance and ecotourism” (practical guide).
