SUCCESS ON ALL LEVELS
The whole of the cultural and sport events proceeded in front of a public very enthusiastic, of which the total number was estimated at 8.000 people (Kyrgyz, Europ?ans and Americans).
This festival aroused a keen interest on behalf of the media Kyrgyz and international, with a total of thirty-six journalists, photographers and cameramen Kyrgyz, Europeans and Americans.
This international event answered to the waitings and to the objectives laid down by the foundation Kyrgyz Ate :
• to highlight the main qualities of the horse of kyrgyz type and to identify the best horses of this type for the revival of the breeding;
• to start again the races on long distance, in varied grounds and mountain, by introducing the rules of the international discipline there “marathon - endurance” in order to select the best riders and horses, then to create a Kirgiz national team;
• to motivate and to encourage the stockbreeders and the trainers of the horses of Kyrgyz type by the attribution of prices;
• to raise the interest of an international public;
• to attract the international media (journalists, photographers, televisions, radios…) ;
• to support the exchanges in the fields of sporti, culture, art, science, and to affirm the collaboration betweend the french and the kyrgyz Ministries of Agriculture;
• to be used as a model by the organization of other events in other areas of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Results of the 1st International festival “AT CHABYSH 2005” 5, 6, 7 November, Barskoon, Tamga, Tosor.
Horse races «Kunan Chabysh», «Byshty», «Bash Baige» for horses kyrgyz type, and kyrgyz national horse games competitions "Kyz Kuumai", "Tyiyn Enmei", "Oodarysh" were held in Ak-Tuz plateau in Barskoon village (Issyk-Kul region, Djety-Oguz district). The horses from Issyk-Kul, Naryn, Chui and Jalal Abad regions had took part at the horse competitions. There were set up 16 yurtas in order to provide with overnight and food the guests of the festival.

The guests of the festivals Elmirbek Imanaliev and Shekerbek Adylov were presented national hat Tebetei and 2000 soms each.
Documental films from producers of Kyrgyzstan, USA and France, slide show “Horse in art for 30 000 years”, animation “Spirit the soul of preriy” and exhibition “Horse in Art” were holding in the local cinemas.
Folklore group Ordo Sakhna and New Frontier group from USA, Wyoming performances on 5th and 6th of November in Tosor and Tamga villages. The concert of the folklore group KUT was held in Barskoon on 7th of November.
